THE THEME - RHEMA COHERENCE AS THE IMPLICATION OF THE EMOTIONAL CONCEPT «HATRED» IN SOMERSET MAUGHAM'S SHORT STORY «UNCONQUERED»
Abstract
The article deals with the representation of the emotional concept «hatred» and the ways of its expression through thema-rhema constructions as one of the key elements of the discourse. The actual content of the concept of «hatred» is revealed through conceptual analysis, as well as the discourse-analysis of the story of S. Maugham «Unconquered».
