Abstract

The article presents information about a new information technology – geolocation. The positive and negative sides of it, forms, types, features and characteristics are studied, specific examples are given. The conceptual apparatus regulating geolocation is studied, as well as the right field, which determines the scope of this technology, and proposals are presented aimed at specifying its application, as well as at ensuring the personal information security of the person using it.
