SOME ASPECTS OF TERMS MOTIVATION IT SPHERES IN MEDICINE IN THE CONTEXT OF TERMFORMATION
Abstract
The article examines some aspects of the motivation of the terms of the IT sphere in medicine on the material of the Russian language. The definitions of the concepts "term", "abbreviation", "acronym" are given, motivated and unmotivated types of terms are highlighted.
This paper reveals a tendency towards a combination of different types of motivation within the same sphere, presents models of abbreviations of terms, as well as acronyms and abbreviations in English used in the international nomenclature.
The authors pay special attention to the thematic categories of the use of acronyms and abbreviations and draw a conclusion about their predominance in the field of IT in medicine.
